PRIVACY

Updated October 11, 2026.

Rug Arena uses your signed-in account to save your player name, multiplayer results, friends, social settings and messages. Global chat is visible to signed-in players. Private messages are available to accepted friends and are stored on the game’s servers; a message reported by a participant can be reviewed by the game owner.

Online status is visible only to friends and can be hidden in Community → X & Privacy. Status expires after inactivity. Public social profiles do not include your wallet address. Wallet verification and token-payment records are separate from chat profiles.

Token leaderboards display player names, confirmed kill winnings and kill counts. Weekly prize history and treasury fee totals are public within the game. Payment transaction links lead to the public Solana explorer; blockchain transactions can reveal recipient wallet addresses even though the game does not include them in public profile responses. Financial records and owner review decisions are stored for accounting and payout checks.

Linking X is optional. With your authorization, we use X’s read-only API to confirm your X account ID and username, and save that ownership link and connection date. We do not ask for or receive your X password. We do not use this connection to post, follow, read X direct messages, or collect your email. Access tokens are used temporarily for the account check, then discarded, with a best-effort revocation request. Disconnect the link in Community → X & Privacy. Reconnect after changing your X username.

Chat displays recent messages for up to seven days, with older records removed during bounded cleanup. Report evidence is stored separately for owner review. Profiles, friend relationships, saved results and ownership links persist across devices until changed or removed. To request removal of your game records, contact the game owner. Financial records may need separate handling.

Rug Arena relies on its hosting, account authentication, game server and, when you connect, X and Phantom providers. Those services apply their own policies. X permissions can also be managed in your X account’s connected-app settings.
